This is one of my favourite quotes from Breakfast at Tiffany's, and my friend pretty much told me the same thing, in a less theatrical way.

Why is this me? Because I'm so scared to take that leap and actually let another person in my life. My friends always say I'm Samantha from Sex in the City. Is it true? Do I love myself more than another to let someone in? But even Samantha gave Smith a chance. <3
