The Row x Toms

Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen's The Row has collaborated with Toms Shoes. They are to be made in plaid, wool-cashmere, and herringbone. They range from $98 to $150. Proceeds from the shoes will go towards Toms One for One mission which will give a pair of new shoes to children for every pair purchased. ♥

StyleCaster photographed 50 New Yorkers and claimed to be the most stylish. I would definitely have to agree with some of them. Here are a few of my favourites.

Leigh Lezark, DJ/Model. This girl has beauty and talent and is an amazing socialite.

Leandra Medine, Fashion Blogger. The Man Repeller is such an amazing blog put together by Leandra. She has such good eye for style. Whether men like it or not.

Kelly Framel, Fashion Blogger. Another one of my favourites. She has already been in a couple of my blog posts, and her style is out of this world. Definitely and inspiration.

Annabel Tollman, Stylist. Ofcourse she's one of the most stylish. Poise, elegant, gorgeous.

Olivia Palermo, Model/Actress/Designer. Everywhere she goes she always looks amazing this girl. Check out her outfit in this photo shoot!

Luigi Tadini, Market Director of Paper Magazine. Not only is he good looking, he dresses well and is intelligent.

This week the weather was cold but sunny, snowy but rainy, a little bit of love, a little bit of hate. All over the place equating in mix matched outfits, layers and thick warm jackets. ♥

At the premier of Just Go with It in Madrid, Jennifer Aniston showed off her new bob which I absolutely love!! I need a haircut desperately but I don't know if this one will suit me!!! ♥

Paul Smith RTW Fall 2011

When I first saw this collection the Marilyn Monroe quote came to mind:

"I don't mind living in a man's world as long as I can be a woman in it."

I love the amount of layers piled on with the use of various textures, mixed in with trousers, feminine lines and the playful use of colour. Plus its slightly geek chic. Putting an outfit together like this is pure style. ♥

Erdem Spring 2011

I can't stress how much I love the Erdem Spring collection and how I want to be in almost every single piece for this Spring!!! Even though they have just released their fall collection which I am not a huge fan of, I am in love with their light, romantic, elegant pieces in the Spring RTW collection. Lots of white mixed in with florals. ♥

the return of the wide-leg pant

Ever since I heard this trend coming back, I wasn't such a big fan. Does that mean all those skinny jeans have to leave your closet? Yeah right. I think I'll stick to my skinnies in jeans that is. I love the look of the wide-leg pant, but not so much in denim. I think it will just be another trend. My preference may change as the season goes on, but we'll see. ♥

Prabal Gurung Fall 2011

Prabal Gurung is getting better and better every season. For Fall 2011, the collection displays many vintage/retro outlines with a modern edge. It brings us vintage in a contemporary style and these are the three pieces I love!!!! ♥

Wear the Fairytale

On Saturday night I went to my friends gorgeous jewelry event, Wear the Fairytale. I've mentioned about her BUN collection before. I love love love her intricate work and she's blowing up more than ever! She has designed a necklace for Lady Gaga and Lady Starlight as well, and is making a name for herself globally.

I even got to try on one of my favourite ones at the event named Berlioz, part of the Tutu Collection. It's so simple and every so wonderful!

Until February 18th, Marc Jacobs will have 2 Playboy bunnies as part of his Playboy -themed window display. It is inspired by Hugh Hefner's Playboy, 6 Volumes. The limited edition book is also available across the street at Bookmarc, and you can have your picture taken with the real Playboy bunnies wearing original costumes from the Playboy vault. There are also three different Marc Jacobs x Playboy tees you can choose from which are $35. All proceeds go to Designers Against Aids. ♥

Dr. Scholl's comes to the rescure

Spotted at Shopper's Drug Mart, Dr. Scholl's gives us a fast relief. They have really tapped into the women's market and have given us foldable flats, for when our feet hurt too much from prancing around in those gorgeous 5 inch heels! Not only do they provide you with little flats, they also give you a little clutch which holds the flats and acts as an evening bag. They are $14.99 in Canada. ♥

Lauren Conrad's show dumped

Remember a while back how I mentioned Lauren Conrad's show was going to air on MTV? Well apparently MTV decided to dump the show because there wasn't enough on her personal life. I guess they felt there would not be interest in the show due to the low level of drama.

"We sold a show to MTV, filmed it and are really proud of the final result. MTV felt the subject matter was too high brow for their audience and offered me the opportunity to change the show by incorporating more of my personal life. We agreed going into the project that this show would be an aspirational one, focusing on my career and my goals and not my personal relationships. We delivered the show that we sold and are sorry MTV didn't feel their viewers were savvy enough to appreciate it."

I think it would have been interesting to see. Who cares about the drama, it's about what she is doing now. Oh well. There's still Olivia Palermo and Joe Zee we have TV hopes for! ♥

Rachel Zoe baby bump x Elle

Rachel Zoe and hubby Roger Berman has decided to show off her baby bump in Elle. They don't even look at themselves! I had to take a double look when I saw this image. She says that: "Boy or girl, I plan to take this child to fashion shows." ♥

I love the retro mixed in contemporary feel with Luca Luca. The colours, the high waisted bottoms and the lines give you that "Mad Men" show feel. ♥

It's that time of year again, where the designers present their Fall fashion down the runway in my favourite city. I always look forward to Jason Wu's collection. I can always count on wanting something from his collection. Above are my three favourite outfits he has put together. The gown on the very right is something I could definitely see on Blake Lively. Am I right or am I right? ♥

I want!!!!!! Rachel Zoe's simplistic Fall/Winter collection. These are my favourite pieces, and boy are they fabulous! I love the colour of those pants, and that romper suit is perfection!!! Drool. ♥

Aritzia is blowing up more than ever, and it makes me proud to be apart of it and watch the Company grow! We have opened up our location in Soho. That's right, Soho in New York. Such an amazing achievement. Aritzia couldn't have picked a better location on Broadway and Spring! I want to be there NOW! ♥

Kirsten Dunst x Bulgari

Kirsten Dunst is teaming up with Bulgari for their Spring/Summer campaign this April. She will represent their new fragrance, Mon Jasmin Noir. The new fragrance will be celebrated during Milan Fashion Week in Milan's Bulgari Hotel on February 25th. They are having a "Mediterranean Eden" theme. ♥

Elie Saab Spring 2011

Seriously, put me in any of these couture gowns because they are absolutely gorgeous! I love the romantic feel to them and how they are well draped. They are extremely simple from afar, but so gorgeously detailed when seen up close!! Definitely an amazing spring collection! The gowns are elegant, chic and feminine. What more could you ask for? ♥

bloggers unite with Glamour

Fashion bloggers collab with Glamour magazine, and created a Young & Posh blogger network. They have chosen 17 bloggers and gathered them together. William Wackermann, executive vice president and publishing director of Bon Appétit, Details, Glamour, the Gourmet brand and W, says that, “The blogger network is the digital manifestation of the Young & Posh branding campaign celebrating personal style. We brought 17 of the most relevant fashion bloggers together on glamour.com to connect with our fashion-obsessed audience".

Gucci Zoo

Gucci has realized that it's a jungle out there and has created these fine little Zoo creatures out of their classic print. They are miniature key chains which come in wallet and key chain combos. I like the little parrots, but not a huge fan of the pig or whale. ♥

I popped into Urban Outfitters today and saw this over sized bag that's super cute for school. It came in gray (the one seen above), mustard yellow and a tan colour. It's $68. ♥
