Vogue x Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker returns to Vogue for the August issue. Except she's not alone. She is now featured with her husband and children as well. Although her facial expression is pretty similar in the pictures, if I ever became a mother, I would want to be as fabulous as this, clothed in Oscar de la Renta, Proenza Schouler, and Chanel! I love how Mario Testino captures her in the mess, SJP definitely stands out in the clutter. ♥

Elie Saab Fall 2011 Couture Collection

Wow! Were my first words that came out of my mouth when I saw this gorgeous collection. If you didn't know by now, I am so into white for this season. The D&G Spring/Summer 2011 was filled with white gowns and now Elie Saab is releasing the Fall 2011 Couture Collection perfect for the red carpet or any event you need to stand out at. I love the transition from light to dark on the runway, and how you can tell it's a cohesive collection. I would love to wear one of those dresses, but to where? Above are my few favourite gowns which the collection offered. Check out the rest of the collection on Fashionologie. ♥

Paper Crown

Last summer, Lauren Conrad announced that she wanted to create a contemporary clothing line with her friends. It is called Paper Crown, and she has released a sneak peek on Facebook! These are the pieces and outfits I love, but I definitely have to say, I can see Lauren wearing all of these pieces.

What I love are the simple lines and the basic colours. The collection does not get too crazy with print or pleats, but rather stays to the simplicity of basics. Something that is a staple in everyone's closet. Check out the rest of the look book on InStyle.♥

short documentary on The Sartorialist

If you've never checked out The Sartorialist fashion photography blog, you're crazy. Scott Schuman takes the most amazing photographs of street fashion and portrays them in a way no one else does.

Here is a 7 minute documentary which profiles Scott. ♥

get the look: Dolce & Gabbana whites

image courtesy of Mama's a Rolling Stone

I am so in love with D&G's 2011 Spring/Summer white dresses. Not only do they look delicate and feminine, they look extremely chic and smart at the same time. But because not all of us have the cash to splurge on a to die for D&G dress, here are some alternatives. These dresses are perfect from day to night, because the white can make the dress seem a bit more casual, yet there is so much detail to them which make them seem like an evening dress. I would definitely take these dresses on vacation.

picture of the day: Regina Feoktistova in Harper's Bazaar Spain

The perfect picture for summer solstice. Regina Feoktistova is such a beach babe in Harper's Bazaar Spain. I love the contrast between the dressiness and the casual beach background. Check out the rest of the photos here. ♥

CFDA Awards: Best Dresses & Winners

If you didn't know, yesterday everyone was focused on the Canucks vs Boston game while I was focusing on the CFDA Awards!! You can't attend the CFDA Awards without looking amazing!! Below are my favourites.

I always give kudos to the woman that pulls off the perfectly tailored suit. It's so risky, especially when the world expects you to wear a dress. Kirsten Dunst definitely pulls this one off in a Patrik Ervell tux and shirt. It is perfectly tailored. I've seen some people try to pull off this look, but fail. Kirsten Dunst stands out in the perfect way, topping it off with Prada stilettos and Bulgari jewelry.

Lady Gaga is still killing it. She made an entrance in McQueen of course. Now this dress takes the little black dress to the next level. Look at the detailing on it. I would kill to be in that dress. The dress is sexy, elegant, and kills all at the same time. I'm in love. Unfortunately she had a wardrobe malfunction and her chest popped out. Luckily Lady Gaga pulls off anything.

The winners of the night were:

Womenswear Designer of the Year: Jack McCollough & Lazaro Hernandez for Proenza Schouler
Menswear Designer of the Year: Michael Bastian
Accessory Designer of the Year: Alexander Wang
Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent: Womenswear: Prabal Gurung Accessories: Eddie Borgo
Fashion Icon Award: Lady Gaga
Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award: Marc Jacobs

Elizabeth & James Spring 2011

The Blacks & Grays

The Nudes

Check out the Spring 2011 Elizabeth & James pieces from their look book. I'm in love. These are my absolute favourite pieces. They are so easy to wear and slip on, and I'm digging the whole socks & sandals look. There is no such thing as fashion faux pas. Everything is so simple and clean, yet carefree and stylish. This line is romantic with such solid pieces to mix and match with other pieces in your wardrobe. I am infatuated. To check out more of Elizabeth & James Spring 2011 click here. ♥

Cinema Against AIDS amFa Gala

Top Favourite Dresses at the Gala last night included Kirsten Dunst's Chanel Spring/Summer 2011 Haute Couture dress, and Bar Rafaeli's Roberto Cavalli gown.

I'm in love with the long sheer dress which shows a bit of leg, and the vintage sort of feel to this dress. Although it's has so much detail, yet has a clean finish. Elegant and simple.

I love this dress, I don't think that I could pull it off, but it looks stunning on Bar Rafaeli. It fits her body like a glove. ♥

Louis Vuitton Fall 2011

It feels like we are just starting to transition into summer, and the fall campaigns are starting to pop up. Seems like Louis Vuitton is one of the firsts. ♥

Jill by Jill Stuart Spring 2011

Haily Clauson rocks the Jill by Jill Stuart Spring 2011 campaign. She is represented by FORD and Marilyn modeling agencies. Who said socks and sandals weren't in? I love the mix of colours. Talk about perfection with a vintage, dolly girl, western sort of theme. ♥

Burberry on Brighton Beach

Karen Ann and John Flynn are British musicians for Burberry's Spring/Summer Campaign. The couple are shot by Mario Testino on Brighton Beach. Just a side note, I love Karen Ann's hair. ♥

Marc Jacobs Spring 2011

I'm loving the sunset colours of Marc Jacobs Spring 2011 campaign. The campaign seems to be focusing on satin and big brimmed hats. Go big or go home I guess. ♥

Gucci loves you

Gucci launched a limited edition bracelet on April 23 to help Japan. These bracelets are simple and non-allergenic white calf leather. I think they are pretty cute. The bracelets are on sale at Gucci stores in Japan, Europe, US and Asia. They are selling for $100 each with proceeds going towards the Japanese Red Cross Society. ♥

RIP Bijan Pakzad

The fashion designer Bijan Pakzad has passed away at the age of 71. He was known to have "the most expensive store in the world" and his boutique was by-appointment-only. ♥

John Galliano fired

The board of Christian Dior SA, which owns the Galliano Brand has voted Galliano out of the house of Dior. I guess Dior couldn't handle John Galliano's racist scandal anymore. The brand will still live on and there have been some inquiries from China and the Middle-East. ♥

Spring 2011 with Twenty8Twelve

Sienna Miller is in her own label's Spring/Summer 2011 lookbook beside another model but she definitely looks and suits the clothes like not other. Her and her sister's line Twenty8Twelve is so cute, flirty and feminine. These are some of my favourite Spring pieces. ♥

dress du jour: Marchesa Spring 2012 Bridal Dress

This newly unveiled Marchesa Spring 2012 Bridal Dress is splendidly amazing. I don't think I would particularly like it as a wedding dress, but for bridesmaids perhaps! It's so girly and I'm digging the lace. ♥

Daisy Lowe for Peacocks

Remember how a few months ago I mentioned about Daisy Lowe's collab with her mother's line Peacocks? Well her swimsuit collection hits stores in May with four pieces. Ofcourse Daisy Lowe is rocking her curves well in her designs. It's a very pin up collection. She states,"I've sought inspiration from the things I love: family holidays in Europe; iconic fifties pin-ups and classic vintage shapes. The swimsuits will be available in sizes 8-16, and in cup sizes 32B-36DD. I guess I don't fit into that category! ♥

Dakota Fanning for Marc Jacobs

Dakota Fanning is perhaps the new face of Marc Jacob's Oh Lola fragrance. The first time Fanning appeared in a Marc Jacobs campaign was back in 2007 when she was 13. ♥
