the domino effect

You know how some days you just feel like you woke up on the wrong side of the bed? Well that was like me today. First off, I didn't know what to wear and so I now have clothes all over my bedroom. Also, I was happily driving today and then reached for something in my bag. When I discovered my entire bag was SOAKED! I was so rattled. My computer power cord was in there and now I don't have a power cord for my laptop! I'm going to wait it out and see if it will work tomorrow, but I only have 45% left of battery at the moment. Then I came home and my mother and I got in a spit. Like could the day get better?! Ugh. I hate the domino effect in the game of life. <3

gossip girl update

So remember Lily Vanderwoodsen (Serena's Mom) on Gossip Girl was going to have her own show?! Well today they just created one episode which was on Gossip Girl rather than actually creating a show on her. So you won't be seeing Brittney Snow on her own show as Lily! Sorry! <3

what a day

Today seemed to be crazy! I finished my important client meeting for my directed studies course. It was so exciting. That means all I have to do is concentrate on my exams and I'm going to be done done done as of next Wednesday! Brace yourself, I'm gonna be ready to party?! Who the eff is down?!

Also, Today was game 6 for the Canucks against the Blackhawks. It was a crazy intense game! It was seriously soo crazy and if you didn't watch, you definitely missed out. We lost which means we're out of the playoffs, but I'm really proud of the Canucks for fighting for it. They really did come a long way.

Anyhow, during the playoffs, one of my guy friends always texts me about it. The thing is that he's liked me for like 5 years, things have just been really up and down, hot and cold and just have not worlked out at all. And we've always missed each other in terms of being single. Seriously. It's just never worked out. Ever. And as for me, I always stick with whatever happens happens for a reason. Because I just think that whatever will happen will just be. And straight up, it just hasn't.

So anyways, let's get to the goods. He started messaging me and was basically like k so if the Canucks lose then you kill me, but if Canucks win you make out with me. I'm like umm... I only gamble in the casino. And he's like oh I see how it is. The thing is he knows that I'm pretty much with someone and he's still trying. The weird part is that his last gf is the boy minus the friend's friend. Small effed up world right? I even reminded him about the boy minus the friend. He doesn't care. He wants to go on a date and surprise me when I'm done school and everything. Ugh.

Anyways, he continued with going on about how he could definitely see us having a future and that we just are meant to be for each other. I told him how it was and just about how it's never worked out in the past and that says a lot. I don't know everything's pretty weird right now. He even talked about how we'd have hot kids. I don't even want children! Ugh. I'm so flustered right now. What a day. <3

douchy sales people

Today me and my family went to go look at these new housing developments. The inside was gorgeous and the outside was really ugly and looked really cheapy. One of the realtors said that if you purchase a lot which has not been built on you can change it, so she called her manager to tell us more. The manager ended up telling us that you can't really change the architecture which is understandable because it is a development.

The thing was we were explaining to him that we really liked the finishing of the house, but the outside wasn't to our likings at all. We never once told him that it was cheap looking or anything. All of a sudden, his feathers were all ruffled up and his whole attitude changed. He was like, well you have to deal with it. You like it or you don't. We're like yes, we understand that, the lady said that it was a possible chance that we could change the outside to our likings so we were just wondering.

Then my mother also mentions about the basement, how we preferred walk-out basements. He said that if it were a walk-out, it wouldn't be a basement because it's out of the ground. My mom's like it's still called a basement though. He's like NO. Technically not. We're like wtf is going on right now! And my mom's like k, well what's it called? And he's just like a first floor. Like really? How dumb is that. Anyways, we're like okay, we'll think about it. He's like okay nice seeing you! In the FAKEST voice.

Like WOW really? People are considering on spending 3/4 of a million on a house and the market isn't even that great, and he has the audacity to be so rude!? It's one of those moments where you had to be there. But in this market, he def should have been kissing our feet is all I have to say. <3

You best be spending it with the woman who gave birth to you!! As much as you fight with her, she is still that special woman who will always be in your life. Fight are short time, your relationship with your mother will or should always be forever. <3

book review: Skinny Bitch

So remember a few posts back I blogged about the book Skinny Bitch? Well I went out to get it and have discovered it's pretty much everything I know! But it is indeed really convincing to get off your ass and eat healthy. They make you grossed out about the processes that you wouldn't think that food goes through. Basically though, in order to be a skinny bitch is to be a vegan. So that means not beef, pork, chicken, eggs, dairy. They are saying to get all your nutrition from all natural all organic foods and soy products. You can't even drink coffee with soy, but rather green tea. AH. I kinda started today I mean I think I'm going to take things step by step, but overall I'm pretty healthy. If you are in need to get that beach body, read the book. I don't know if I would buy it. Basically it is common sense and they say so in the book! The two on the left are the skinny bitches who wrote the book. <3
