Burberry has been known for it's infamous plaid but they were rethinking their signature plaid because it was on everything from scarves to skateboards! People were finding it really easy to imitate to look rich with the signature plaid wrapped around them.
If you haven't noticed, Burberry did retire the plaid and were going for a more modern metallic look in terms of dresses, bags etc. and they were a success everywhere. As Burberry is growing they no longer care and are bringing back the plaid for Fall 09 with these canvas trainers which are $250.
