Rosie Huntington-Whitely x Gucci = Amazing

I find it to be a hit or miss with Rosie Huntington-Whitely, but she definitely pulled this one off on June 23 at the Moscow International Film Festival. It's elegant, yet extremely chic, playful and sexy at the same time. I've been looking for the perfect skirt similar to that one, but I haven't found anything that fits me well enough! This was definitely a hit with Rosie Huntington-Whitely. I loved that colour on her. This Frida Giannini is from the Fall collection for Gucci. I'm in love. ♥

Elle Fanning x BlackBook

She is only thirteen, but she looks eighteen and pulls it off really well. I definitely don't think she looks like someone who just completed 7th grade. I've posted about Elle Fanning before, but I really think she is an up and comer. She has those doe eyes that everyone falls in love with.

She is featured in BlackBook, promoting her movie Super 8. She is wearing designs from Jenny Packham, Tim Van Steenbergen, and Racquel Allegra. Talk about styling. I love the different use of texture which you can see even though the images are in black & white.

Because of the success of several fashion documentaries, the newest one in the works is titled Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf Goodman. It will be all about the beloved 5th Ave store. The documentary will be released on Bergdorf's 111th anniversary, next year. ♥

R.I.P. Elizabeth Taylor

If you didn't know (which is near to impossible), the amazing, stunning, Elizbeth Taylor passed away from congestive heart failure at LA's Cedars-Sinai Hospital yesterday. Not only is she known for her classic movies, she was also known for her 8 husbands which she had in her lifetime, as well as her impact on the fashion industry. What a bomb shell she was. May you rest in peace. Elizabeth Taylor. ♥

Out of all the videos I have posted for you to watch this would have to be the best one. It's of Coco Rocha's & James Conran's wedding. Their vows are absolutely perfect and they seem like an amazing couple together. You absolutely have to watch the full version. it is a short 19 minute film. There is a trailer of it, but I decided not to post it because you really should see this one! The cinematography is absolutely amazing, the venue is perfect and the dress is gorgeous by Zac Posen! featured movie: Burlesque

I saw this preview featured on Entertainment Tonight, and thought it looked simply delicious! I was a little bit skeptical due to Christina Aguilera acting as it does not usually pan out with singers cross over to acting and vice versa, or it simply is marvelous! But, watching the trailer definitely made me want to see this movie. It looks like a light, good girl night movie to watch! <3

carried away

To think that my first blog post was right after I watched the first Sex and the City movie! Two and a half years ago? Who would have guessed?! And now I'm blogging about SATC2. Which to me was one giant fashion show. I thought the storyline was a little try hard but the fashion was amazing. Overall, not as good as the first. Me and my friends were discussing how it was only a peak/glimpse into the ladies' lives, rather than a definite end to SATC, and we claimed they should definitely have a Sex and the City 3 to finalize things and end things off. There were sooo many odds and ends in the movie, as if they were trying to fit as much as they could in!

The best part though was that I reunited with my best girlfriends who are just as obsessed with SATC as I am. It was a fun/chill girls night out and I had an amazing time catching up on the past year with them. Even thought the movie wasn't as good as I hoped, the fashion was to the tee as always right down to the nails, the boys were sexy, and I had an amazing night out with my girls!

P.S. Samantha is effing HILARIOUS in the movie, and definitely stole the show. <3

We have the trailer yes, but now are some fabulous stills. I haven't heard much on the story line except they travel to North Africa & the Sahara Desert and that a wedding and a baby is on the way. Could it be Samantha?! Also, Carrie and Big's relationship is a bit shaky. Oooh! Check out the pics! I love the one where they're all eating in the desert, Carrie and her closet, and the one of Samantha. <3

movie review: Alice in Wonderland in 3D

So Friday I went to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D. The effects were absolutely fabulous along with the actors and costume design. The storyline on the other hand was blah. The beginning was good, but the end was dumb. It reminded me of a Harry Potter movie or something. I wish it wasn't so predictable. The acting was fabulous though and each character really fit the part. I liked it but didn't, but it was worth watching in 3D. <3

movie review: Valentino The Last Emperor

I watched this movie last night because I couldn't go to sleep. But half of it was in Italian and French. The way Valentino's people portrayed him seemed to be like he was stupid and they didn't really care about his opinion and they were almost trying to push him to retire. I didn't like that at all. Okay yes they have been working with him for over 45 years but I mean he is the man behind the whole company and they wouldn't have jobs without him! That's what I got out of the English part anyways. I'd give it a 2.5 out of 5. The fashion was amazing though. <3

movie review: It's Complicated

I got to go to the sneak peak of It's Complicated, with Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin. It's a must see! It comes out on Christmas Day and it is funny. I absolutely loved it and glad I went! It's kind of weird seeing old people having an affair! <3

movie review: The September Issue

While being sick this week I watched The September Issue. A documentary I've wanted to watch ever since it came out. It was delicious and juicy. Shows a sneak peak of producing the September issue of Vogue. Except I bet a whole bunch more goes into it. I wouldn't doubt it at all. It's a must watch. It really inspired me and I really want to get into the industry even more. It really shows how much power Anna Wintour really does have. <3

movie review: Love Happens

Yesterday I went to see that new movie Love Happens with Jennifer Aniston. Honestly, it wasn't very good at all!! I thought that it would be more about Jennifer Aniston falling in love, but it wasn't! It was more so based on the guy in the movie and his job. It was alright. I dunno. They definitely didn't have to pay Jennifer Aniston the amount of money they did to get her. They could have used any girl! Anyhow, the movie was supposed to be based in Seattle but parts of it were filmed in Vancouver at the Hyatt! That was the best part. Also, alot of it was in Gastown. I guess that Gastown does sort of look like Seattle! <3
