the stylish New Yorkers

StyleCaster photographed 50 New Yorkers and claimed to be the most stylish. I would definitely have to agree with some of them. Here are a few of my favourites.

Leigh Lezark, DJ/Model. This girl has beauty and talent and is an amazing socialite.

Leandra Medine, Fashion Blogger. The Man Repeller is such an amazing blog put together by Leandra. She has such good eye for style. Whether men like it or not.

Kelly Framel, Fashion Blogger. Another one of my favourites. She has already been in a couple of my blog posts, and her style is out of this world. Definitely and inspiration.

Annabel Tollman, Stylist. Ofcourse she's one of the most stylish. Poise, elegant, gorgeous.

Olivia Palermo, Model/Actress/Designer. Everywhere she goes she always looks amazing this girl. Check out her outfit in this photo shoot!

Luigi Tadini, Market Director of Paper Magazine. Not only is he good looking, he dresses well and is intelligent.

bloggers unite with Glamour

Fashion bloggers collab with Glamour magazine, and created a Young & Posh blogger network. They have chosen 17 bloggers and gathered them together. William Wackermann, executive vice president and publishing director of Bon Appétit, Details, Glamour, the Gourmet brand and W, says that, “The blogger network is the digital manifestation of the Young & Posh branding campaign celebrating personal style. We brought 17 of the most relevant fashion bloggers together on glamour.com to connect with our fashion-obsessed audience".

Kelly Framel (above), from the Glamourai is on there and she is amazing! One of my favs I may add. Congrats! ♥

Google fashion

Just when you thought Google couldn't get any better, they start to appeal to the fashionistas. They have launched their own site, Boutiques.com. Although I haven't tested it out myself, it sounds amazing and almost like Polyvore. Basically, it includes hundreds of virtual boutiques merchandised by retailers, designers, bloggers, celebs and every day users. You can shop for things that even celebs would buy aka those who have signed up as users for the site.

There are so many possibilities on this site it seems. even if you don't know how to wear your new clothes, there are street style pictures which allows you to visualize how they can be worn! I can't wait to set up my account! Perfect time to put together outfits you want for Christmas! <3

How would you like Christian Siriano to accessorize you? I know I would. He has an amazing eye for things and is ever so creative. He has launched an accessories-only website with jewelry, sunnies and scarves offered all at $29.95! That's unheard of!

All we have to do is take a style quiz. After the first purchase you will receiver personalized recommendations every month. You will also receive free registration and shipping! <3

Marc Jacobs' online store

Welcome Marc Jacobs' to the wonderful world of e-commerce. He (or his minions) has set up a cute little site to feature his collections. It's like entering a store, and each different level is a different collection with sales people to help you out. I don't know if you remember, but years ago when Paul Frank first burst into the scene I think their website was similar. I still love it though! Check out his website here!<3

Retail Therapy

I'm not a gamer at all, but to me this sounds pretty fabulous. PopSugar released a Facebook game called Retail Therapy. It allows players to have their own avatar, dress them in designer labels, and open up their own high-end boutique. You get the chance to play, show and work!

Basically you are running your own boutique. You start off with not a lot of money or shoppers or clothing, and you are supposed to build that up. I'm curious as to what it is all about! Check it out here! <3

website of the day: Dripbook

I'm obsessed with Dripbook. That over 2 days I sat there looking at everyone's portfolio. Basically it features top creative talent worldwide showing their videos, photography and illustration. The shots are beautiful and I'm obsessed! This illustration was the first to get me hooked by Nicole Jarecz. <3

my favourite website: Looklet

Soooo I found this absolutely amazing website called Looklet.com. Basically it's for all you fashion lovers. Such as myself. It's a styling studio to combine and create looks from a variety of fashion collections. All the clothes are real and selected by stylists from real designers.

You pick the model, the outfit and the setting to create the perfect editorial! My dream job! It's honestly so much fun. I could spend time sifting through the clothes if I had it. Check out the outfits I created! <3

Louis V and the 80s

Everyone's hitting up the past. The bright colours, the grungy style and the old school looks. Louis Vuitton has decided to launch the welovesprouse website to celebrate Stephen Sprouse and The Stephen Sprouse Book, which will be released in January.

Who exactly was Sprouse?
He was a major influence on the downtown scene in NYC. He was a designer who worked along with Debbie Harry, Andy Warhol, Axl Rose and Duran Duran.

So what does this have to do with Louis V?
Sprouse's art is screened onto LV bags. The website also includes his life, artwork, collabs and other fashion projects. <3

Hello Kitty's album

I'm not talking about a picture album. I'm talking about an actual singing album. So she's not only a cartoon icon and a Japanese tourism ambassador, she is a singer of her own band! Her debut album is called Hello World (ofcourse). Anyways, at the magazine NYLON, one reader will win her new CD along with a sick Hello Kitty Fender guitar, tote bag, alarm clock, watch, stuffed toy and earphones. You can check out the link to listen to her songs. Haha super kawaii! <3

Aakash Nihalani

Nooppe, I'm not talking gibberish. This art is crazy. It's so random and just made of simple coloured 3D boxes, yet there's something which makes it sooo crazy and art worthy! His work consists mainly of isometric rectangles and squares. Nihalani places his work selectively around New York to highlight the City. He wants to capture a different image of New York. What a siiickkk idea. I love it! The last pic is my fav. Check out the website here. <3

featured website: dress me up

J David McKenney creates adorable illustrations, but now he's started a site to entertain the fashion community. It's called Dress Me Up Doll Retro. It's such a cute and simple idea. You get to pick between 4 ladies from different decades and dress em! I love it! <3 style="font-weight: bold;">

pictures of the day: BOOOOOOOM!

Gotta support the locals. So I stumbled across this website that's pretty sick. This website was created by Jeff Hamada, and for some reason the name sounds ever so familiar! He is a designer from Vancouver, basing most of his work on photos, art, design, and basically all the creative aspects of art. Not all of the work is by him, but he def has style. (The website is called BOOM, and that is why I titled it so). <3
