tip of the day: yellowing fingernails from nailpolish

I hate seeing my nails naked without any colour on them. But I realize that when you always have nail polish on it isn't exactly good for your nails. The other day I took off my nail polish to notice that my finger nails were yellowing! YUCK! Here is a resolution to fix your yellow nails. Believe it or not. Take any whitening toothpaste, rub it on your nails for about a minute, wash and voila! Back to their good self! <3

I know it' about time but I finally got in iPod! Well I didn't technically get it. My boyfriend did! It's the new nano. I absolutely love it! I can use it at my work, to study, in the car and everything. Haha oohh it has the video cam feature on it too and the camera is pretty good. The only thing is that it doesn't take pictures! Just video. That's dumb. But I guess that will be on the next version. Just you wait. Well that's what they'll make us do anyways. I got the purple one. Yay! I'm so happy. something to look forward to for October

Halloween is exactly a week away. What are you going to be?! It's one of my favourite things to do as I LOVE making my costume. All last week I was slaving over making my costume. I just need white ears which is impossible to find as everyone wants to be black in this case. Can you guess what I'm going to be?

Hello Kitty!!!! I'm so excited! I have a black, pink and white skirt I made with a huge oversized bow, a white lacy shirt and a big bow in my hair. It's hard to describe but I'll definitely put up a picture after of it! My favourite yet! Just need a place to go haha.

Did you know that Cindy Crawford left the runway because she was being compared to all these young up and coming models who she shared the runway with? She once had ruled the catwalk in the 90s and I guess just could not live up with the pressure. She said, "I don't want to stand next to a 20-year-old on the runway, even if people say you can still do it. It is like, 'Why would I do that to myself?' It would just make me depressed". She's still a total babe though! At 43, she has adjusted to her body is very accepting. That's all that matter. <3

stuck in traffic with nothing to do

Well that's exactly what's going to happen. Here in BC they are starting this January the no talking on your cell phone unless there is a headset. And for those learners and new drivers, you're not allowed even with a headset. Lovely. So while you're stuck in traffic there is no more talking on your phone if your a youngen. Consumerism will definitely go up in headsets and bluetooths. Business idea perhaps? And no one said no texting! haha just kidding! Better get a talking before you're banned my friend! <3

Today I went to Starbucks as it will be one long day. But all of a sudden my drink total came to over $5! I was so disgusted and thought they gave me the wrong size. I told the lady and she told me that they had just rose the prices this week. CHOKED! So long Starbucks. You're too high end for me now! <3

I love these Jimmy Choo for Hunter black croc rain boots! Living in Vancouver you need a pair! I've been looking for the perfect rainboots and haven't quite found ones that fit nicely and are beautifully trendy. Alot of plain ones look like riding boots. I usually don't like the whole crocodile/animal print thing but I love these!! They are going for $395! <3

Well well, we finally found a flaw in Barbie!! It turns out that Christian Louboutin thinks that Barbie is carrying some extra padding in her ankles. Louboutin, Diane von Furstenberg, Anna Sui and Givenchy are revamping 3 Barbies from head to toe. They even come with mini Louboutin boxes for her shoes and says that he is retooling her supposed cankles. Haha.. yes! Barbie finally has a flaw! <3

Giorgio Armani now has a Samsung smartphone which includes pretty much everything your little mind can think of. I love the look of it. Maybe not the colour but the look. So go get your ticket to Italy or Paris to get this phone!


I'm not sure who makes the Dior cell phones but they just lauched their own line of flip phones. Now this is what I'm talking about! Glitz and glam. This phone also comes with a mini accessory with a baby sized fully functional phone. Crazy! It's so much more girly than the Armani phone. The only thing is I like the full keyboard. <3

Well, as of yesterday it was announced that Cristiano Ronaldo will be the new face/body of Armani Jeans Spring/Summer 2010. Basically he's replacing my lover David Beckham. It's even worse that he plays for Beckham's former team! Ugh! Well not to say he isn't good looking or anything. <3

Dell always comes out with such rad laptops. It's a shame they are known for shit computers. But now, OPI and Dell are teaming up to bring you a computer. I love Isaac Mizrahi's Spring 2010 collection. It was in Bryant Park and the clothing is ever so romantic. I love the colors and them and everything about it! It was dramatic including stairs, fake rain, red lipstick, high heels, big hats and sophistication. Ahhh it makes me happy! <3

Soooo I found this absolutely amazing website called Looklet.com. Basically it's for all you fashion lovers. Such as myself. It's a styling studio to combine and create looks from a variety of fashion collections. All the clothes are real and selected by stylists from real designers.

You pick the model, the outfit and the setting to create the perfect editorial! My dream job! It's honestly so much fun. I could spend time sifting through the clothes if I had it. Check out the outfits I created! <3

oh plaid, how we missed you

Burberry has been known for it's infamous plaid but they were rethinking their signature plaid because it was on everything from scarves to skateboards! People were finding it really easy to imitate to look rich with the signature plaid wrapped around them.

If you haven't noticed, Burberry did retire the plaid and were going for a more modern metallic look in terms of dresses, bags etc. and they were a success everywhere. As Burberry is growing they no longer care and are bringing back the plaid for Fall 09 with these canvas trainers which are $250.

The Fame Kills concert with Lady Gaga and Kanye West is cancelled. Dead. Killed. Lady Gaga's choreographer tweeted that it was because of creative differences. But who really knows.
