Employees new way of stealing is through gift cards! The New York Times reports that gift cards are the trendiest way to shoplift. Cashiers do fake merchandise refunds and electronically divert the amount refunded on gift cards.
There is a worse way where clients buy gift cards and they give them blank cards and divet the money onto cards for themselves. WOW. Just WOW. How desperate! It was probably so easy during the Christmas rush too! <3
good thing i saved the receipt for the H&M card i got u! next time ur in the mall, check the balance on the card to make sure it's actually on there so i can throw the receipt out :) love you little sis
