Vancouver International Fringe Festival is happening Sept 3-14. What is the Fringe Festival you ask? It's North America's most international Fringe Fest and BC's largest theatre festival. It happens every year with over 500 performances by over 65 different groups. Usually I'm not that into theatre, but this year I will be going. I'm doing some promotional work there for Fido! So I'll see ya there! <3
Remember back in the day when you'd get the jitters for going back to school. Excited to be a year older and ready to take on the new grade, just anticipating for lunch and reccess to come around so you can show off your new clothes? Well that's exactly how I didn't feel today. I had to wake up at 6am this morning. Yeah I'll admit I was a teensy bit excited, but when I got to school it hit me that I was in school. If that makes sense. Anyways, I got to school to register at 8am and it was literally checking off your name and receiving a tiny slip of paper with a sticker saying your name on it. I was choked, because my first class got cancelled, and we didn't have class till 10.30. I ended up chillen in the cafeteria and catching up with peoples summers, but it was a waste of time. Time that I could have been sleeping! I finally had class. The day just seemed to drag on forever. I hate those days. It just was not fun. Tomorrow morning is another early morniong for me. Wahoo.. not. I'm so not a morning person. The coffee didn't even do anything for me! So depressing. <3
Filing cabinets which Marilyn Monroe once owned had apparently vanished after her death. Fortunately, being a nosy society, they have been found and are going to be released by Vanity Fair. It will be seen in the October issue. I'm so excited. I'm going to be all over that. It's for their 25th anniversary edition, which will be a collectors. What will be displayed will include "Who owned it, where did it come from, why did [Monroe's husband Joe] DiMaggio want it out of the house?". The other side of Marilyn will be displayed including receipts, telegrams, checkbooks and bottles of Chanel No. 5. <3
90210 was on last night!! It was the 2 hour premiere. New hot and old faces! I'm not sure if I like it 100% yet, but it has me wanting to watch next week's. That's a good thing for them! I wish I had lived the high rollin life in high school. These kids are nuts and just straight looooaded with cash. They have the "daddy" word and puppy dog eyes mastered. <3
Haha I was checking out another blog and found craziness that they found. Apparently, an outside parking garage in Dusseldorf is decorated with rings, bracelets and necklaces. That's straight crazy. <3
Gwen Stefani's backup singers/dancers are doing a grand tour of New York's Bloomingdale locations today and Friday. These mini concerts are to celebrate the Harajuku Lovers' new handbag collection. Nice PR work! Grr.. why does NY always get the sweet events?! <3
I have a thing for pretty things. It's pretty much an obsession. Anyways, I've been collaging and covering my planner since I was in middle school and have kept all my planners. This year I included my artistic ability and collaging on my planner! Check it out. Tell me what you think.The left side is the front and the right side is the back. The front says miss meliss and the back says "some girls were just born with glitter in their veins".
