Tuesday night, I went to the DRAKE concert! I went with the bf and two others. It was such a good night. So we got there and found our seats. I was so excited I didn't look at the actual section number. Rather I looked at the seat numbers. Number 50 to 54. We sat down and our seat were the second to last row on the first floor. But since it was at the Centre of Performing Arts, it was a pretty small but intimate concert, compared to Rogers Arena.

Anyhow, we sat down and then these 4 girls came and were like these are our seats. The usher ended up telling us that our seats were down more. So we kept walking until it said row C which was our actual seats. Meaning we were in 3rd row!!!!!! It was amazing and it was so close! It just blew how all the people ran up from the back into the aisles. Oh well. I have clip of him singing best I ever had. You can see how freaking close we were, but it doesn't justify it.

Overall, Drake is a really good performer BUT his opening acts blew. He is better looking in person. He brought up a girl on stage and made out with her too. Ah well, same thing every night when you're famous. That's all their into anyways. <3

Vanity Fair x Lady Gaga

Magazines are prepping for the September issue and who else is better than to put Lady Gaga on their September cover?! Since she has become so fabulous this year and the September issue is well you know, the most important! Lady Gaga is on the September issue of Vanity Fair and is styled by Nicola Formichetti and the photographer is Nick Knight. I love the shades of gray. Definitely resembles the darker tones of Fall. <3

me without my phone = trauma

Yesterday morning, I woke up happy as ever. I had a presentation for school and work later. I had some updates which needed to be done on my phone, so I accepted them. While this was happening I finished getting ready and went back to my phone.

All of a sudden, the start up screen just kept flashing over and over again. I took out the battery and powered on the phone. It kept doing the same thing!!! It wouldn't go past the HTC start up screen. My life was incomplete, and I'm not even as involved as my friends are with their phones!

I went to lunch with my Mom and she gave me her phone to switch my sim card which I was ever so grateful for. By the time I got home, I had googled the problem. I felt like such a tech nerd, going through the motherboard or whatever it's called on the phone, BUT I fixed the problem and although it erased some people off my contacts and the apps I downloaded, my phone works!!! haha the things technology does to us! <3

I have a sunglasses obsession and I came across Mary-Kate and Ashley's sunglasses for Fall 2010 for their line The Row. They partnered with Linda Farrow for 4 retro glasses. They are going for $325 at Bergdorf. I love the brown ones above the rose tinted glasses, and the ones with the purple lenses! <3

Umm yes please!!! I want this clutch so badly!! Its a YSL patent leather clutch inspired by St. Laurent's handwriting and iconic address. It is going for $395 and I need it! <3

Retail Therapy

I'm not a gamer at all, but to me this sounds pretty fabulous. PopSugar released a Facebook game called Retail Therapy. It allows players to have their own avatar, dress them in designer labels, and open up their own high-end boutique. You get the chance to play, show and work!

Basically you are running your own boutique. You start off with not a lot of money or shoppers or clothing, and you are supposed to build that up. I'm curious as to what it is all about! Check it out here! <3

Taylor Momsen was firs the face of Madonna's Material Girl, and now she is said to be the face of John Galliano's fragrance. Hmm. We'll see. I've been hating her super long hair, dark make up and her deteriorating style lately! I used to like her before between the fresh face of Gossip Girl and before her goth/punk look. <3

it's only up from here

Yesterday was such a busy day. Seriously though. I had school and had to wake up at 7am, then had an intense workout, worked on a project right after, then had to head to work. At work I just had a bad day and we ended up getting out past midnight, an hour and a half almost longer than we had to stay. I just wanted to be home, showered and snuggled up in bed.

So I finally got home past 1am and then found this amazing package with my name on it! I've been waiting for this for so long! I ripped open the packaging and there was a brightly spray painted box wrapped up. My Time-Peace watch came! So stoked.

Then when I woke up, I was surprised by my sister with a Harajuku Lovers black tin pencil case. I needed one so badly too. Plus, it's the weekend and I'm going to Cirque du Soleil and the Aquarium! <3

i know it's a little hot for this but...

... you always have to think ahead! So for this Fall, I have fallen (no pun intended) in love with these Dior thigh high socks! They are ripped and oh so cute! They are also going for $519.70 at Browns. <3

heartbreaker for heel wearers

Researchers from England's Manchester Metropolitan have found out why it hurts when we actually take off our heels! Apparently, our heels shorten the fibers in our calves. This makes the achilles tendon shorter and thicker. We just don't feel it when prancing around in our sexy sky high shoes, but when taken off, the muscles are overstretched! Calf muscle fibers are apparently 13% shorter than those who wear flats!

For all you ladies, you can fix this by doing minor stretches. Stand on your tip toes and lower your heals up and down. This stretches out your tendons. It is prescribed to do it about 20 times a day! <3

I know it's been far too long, but I've been sick and just getting into the flow of things! Plus as this semester winds down, there's projects, exams and papers. I've been so sick and still sick with strep-throat and the flu!! I have been in bed since Thursday!! Not my ideal way to spend 30 degree celsius weather!

The only thing I like in this picture is Megan Fox's Armani Prive wedding gown with her 16 foot long train. I think this is the perfect beach wedding dress. Too bad she definitely shouldn't be in white. Her groom also chose Armani for their wedding ceremony. <3

Coco Rocha's the "It" Girl for British Vogue

As her married life has settled down a tad, she's back to her modeling career and just being the fabulous Coco Rocha Conran-that is. She was asked to do this little project for "Today I'm wearing...". Basically everyday of July, she will be sending in a picture of her outfit she's wearing for le jour! The pictures are taken by her husband himself through the "old" iPhone.

Today she's wearing "...a white top by Topshop and [her] black trousers are American Apparel." Goes to show she doesn't wear fancy labels everyday!

Hmm.. perhaps I'll do this one day. <3

New York understands fashion lovers...

...and that's exactly why I should live there. Come September, NYC will be able to dump their clothes off for recycling. Their plan of action is to have 50 clothing bins in high traffic areas to get rid of the 190 000 plus tons of clothes which end up in their landfills. If this program works out, it may even go world wide!! Fashion x the 3 R's = perfection! I mean, every season, I raid my closet to get rid of clothes I haven't worn in ages or think I'll ever wear again. I don't throw them away though, I donate them to those in need. But still, this is a great idea. Plus I'm sure all those little vintage shops you shop at ends up throwing away the clothes which haven't been sold. <3

Dior makes a BIG impression at Paris Fashion Week

I absolutely LOVE Couture fashion week in Paris. This is when the designers come to life and give their all time crazy cool ideas and send them down the runway. John Galliano, as crazy as he may be, really knows the world of fashion and sent his creations for Christian Dior down the runway to open fashion week. It was full of bold colours and a floral theme. LOVE IT. <3

One of my favourite summer shows is coming back August 16th. Weeds that is. Not to mention, Entourage already started! I wished the shows didn't only last the summer. Speaking of summer, I'm stoked for the weather to finally get nice as of tomorrow 26 degrees Celsius! <3

Nothing is stopping Coco Rocha. She has just signed on as the new face for Victoria's Secret PINK collection. She is featured in the Fall Loungewear campaign. She is more so covered up compared to the other VS Angels, but finally a Canadian that doesn't always try to be sexy in a VS campaign! The photos are so her, fun and full of life. <3

Gucci is debuting their children's clothing collection under the creative director Frida Giannini. Children's sizes range from 2 to 8 years old and infants 0 to 25 months. I want those little Gucci rainboots! They are so cute! <3

I do love hats, but not so much baseball hats. BUT.. I came across this cute, little, fabulous cap with no other than Hello Kitty on it! I would love to have it just to have it! It's only $18, and they have some other cute ones too. <3

happy Canada day!

Yesterday that is, as much as I was complaining and ranting about BC's new policies, I had a good time yesterday. Ended up going to a birthday party which was more fabulous than I had expected with the works. Everything from appies, guestlist, dancing under the fireworks and all. The day couldn't have been more unorganized. I wasn't told that it was a fabulous dress up party, my purse handle broke in the middle of the street and it was raining all day! Regardless I had a good night with the support of good company. I ran into the most random people that I haven't seen in a while too! Hope you had a fun night out! Most memorable Canada Day yet! <3

Victoria Beckham x Range Rover

Seems like Victoria Beckham has a new job, as Range Rover has made her the new creative design executive. They hired her because she "...understands luxury products. She is a Range Rover fan and has been a Range Rover owner for many years." Her new car will be called Range Rover Evoque! Hmm.. 2 of my favs combined into one. I hope it flies. <3
