life in Kelowna

Did you miss me!? I had no access to Internet connection, and even if, I straight up had no time! My apologies!! Where do I even start!? It was the best/disastrous trip to Kelowna, but I miss it now! Weird eh!?

Well the girls picked me up in the morning and we headed out there. We arrived at about 10.45 and my friend was too busy to meet up with us so we ended up finding this really yummy place called Bread Co. After, we ended up meeting up with my guy friend and a couple of his buddies, and went to his friend's house where we laid by the pool and soaked up the sun. It was just lovely. Later on we went to his house where we unpacked, showered, and had dinner with his family.

That night, we went drinking with his friends for his friend's birthday. So we went to the beach and chilled there and headed to a club, which was dead! So we got our free drink and left!! We ended up going to this bar called Rose's which was chill I guess. Not really my scene. But we hung out there. Anyhow, we were dropping people off in my friend's ghetto van and the birthday guy accidently grabbed my face and scratched me all down my face. To this day it's so much better and you can hardly tell.. but STILL! Ugh..

So day 2, we ended up going down the Penticton Canal which took a few hours but I got dark off of it! It was so fun. We had our drinks floating and it was just a day of relaxation. That night we headed to one of the guys' house's and we smoked hooka and played DDR! I haven't played it in sooo long but it was pretty fun. It was such a chill night.

K and are you ready for day 3!? This is the gong show night. We hung out at the beach during the day and just enjoyed Kelowna. We just walked around and what not. After we headed back to the house to get ready for our night. We were heading out to a club called Flashbacks. Ooh before I continue, I had really bad allergies the whole trip and my sinuses were hurting and everything. It felt like someone punched me in the face. Anyhow, I decided to take Tylenol to get rid of the pain along with allergy pills. Keep in mind, I hate taking drugs, I like the body to run its course.

So, we headed out to the club, pre-drank and went in. The lines were soo long and in Vancouver I never really wait! It was so weird cuz in the front it was a huge line where it was $5 cover and in the back there was a shorter line for $10. That's unheard of in Vancouver!! The price and the different lines! Anyhow, we waited half an hour to get in and when we did, I was hit by the liquor. It was bad news. I couldn't see anyones faces and it was just bad. Then I lost my friends, but when I found them again we got split up by these 2 guys who took us away.

Honestly, the guys there are soo ruthless. This one guy saw me sitting and I couldn't even stand anymore I just felt horrid. I just looked away and he weaved his way in through my friends and grabbed me and pulled me up to dance. My two guy friends intervened and one of them pretended to make out with me and the guy still wanted to dance. So they got in a mini fight holding each other by the throats. Ugh. Guys would just pull you, not introduce themselves, and expect you to dance. It was retarded!!

Anyhow, I got really sick. I ended up puking in the club in a garbage can. And then we went to the car and I was shaking cuz I just felt so cold! And when I got home, I puked on my friend's driveway. Ahh.. bad news. I think it was because of the Tylenol and meds I took with the liquor. Ah not fun, and the next morning was blah. Wow. What a trip. It's just one of those that you had to experience. Ya know?! <3

I'm off this morning!! I got home at 3.30am last night and I had to wake up at 6.30am. I'm so tired it's ridiculous!! Anyhow, last night was nuts! It wasn't as good as last year, but it was alright? Hm where do I even start?!

So I got this one piece tube zip up, shorts outfit which looked really hot and it had a belt wrapping around it. Anyhow, so when I was getting ready, I headed to my friends house. I went to the washroom and then the zipper wouldn't zip properly! It was so retarded! We ended up having to go back to the store. Also, I forgot my ID, so we had to rush back to my house. We were running an hour late already!? It was crazy. We got to our other friend's house, chugged Crown Royal and headed out. The line up was crazy, but thank God we just got in!!

So when we were in there, I was super uber hammered! It was ridiculous! My friend ended up meeting a guy and all of us lost each other. We ended up wanting to leave so we headed out and my friend was still with the guy. Long story short, she ditched us. I was left rideless and it was ridiculous. I was pissed. I'm sorry but I'm not the kind of girl that would EVER ditch my friends over a guys, especially one we just met! So offside!

Me and my other friend ended up grabbing a late night slice of pizza and met these creepy persian guys. We ended up making fake stories about ourselves, it was hilarious! We ended up catching a ride with my friend but wow it was a retarded night indeed. While waiting we went to a coffee shop and were cracking jokes like no tomorrow! That was probably the best part.

The bf and I said a really bad goodbye and I left him there. Everyone was just so gongshowed. Ahh. I'm officially off to LA. I'll keep you up to date there ;) <3

blaaah

I ended up going to a local club last night for my friend's birthday. Well, I was supposed to go to dinner first but totally forgot that I had a staff meeting. Just my luck, it ended up being a super long meeting til 8 and we had started at 6.30. Lovely. Anyways, I ended up making it to the lounge, and we headed to the club. I don't know. One of the guys came and he was acting really couply with me. I don't know what to do. I'm so not a couply person but he kept holding my hand and holding me. It was wierd. Good thing I was tipsy. Nothing crazy went down but I just have to see him at school and everything and I just don't know how I feel about this whole thing. I think I may be liking the other guy because he's starting to pay less attention to me. I'm so wierd. It's like a dumb game for me with the one who stops paying me attention when what I have right in front of me is perfectly good. I don't know. I'm sooo lost in relationships right now. I think I just need to have some space but ofcourse guys just don't understand that because girls generally like a boy all over them. Haha so much for my playing it like a guy plan. I've just confused myself. <3

5, 4, 3, 2, 1... HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Last night I had pretty much no expectations. I'm the kind of person who has to plan everything out and hate just going without. Anyhow, we came up with plans the day of and they weren't the greatest of plans. Me and my friend were planning to go to our friends hotel party until we heard it was lame! So we were parked outside of my house trying to figure out what to do now. I didn't want to stay in for sure. I was ready, wearing my dress, my face and had my hair up! So we were all dressed up and had no where to go. What could be worst on New Year's Eve. We were scrambling for events to go to and called all my contacts. As the night went on, we were freaking out. We hadn't gotten our booze yet and literally all we could say was, "What are we going to do!?" It was horrid and it was beginning to snow.

Anyways, we pulled it together and my friend got us guest list at a club so we only had to pay $40 rather than $85. Stoked. Another plus was that our friends were going. Yep, all boys of course. We headed down on the skytrain and found one of our other friends. We pre-drank before going into the club in the freezing cold. We got in at 11.20. Perfect timing. Everyone was just headed in so it was decent. The club was decent sized and there were several people that I knew. Along with our low expectations, the club was better than expected. I've never had a real great countdown and have always managed to miss the actually "5, 4, 3, 2, 1... HAPPY NEW YEAR" part. But, I got my countdown this year with the confetti falling on my head and all!

It was great and better than expected which made me superbly happy. Like the Cinderella story, we had to leave as the skytrain's last train was leaving at 2.20am. We left the club at 2.00am to include walking time and slippage in the snow as it was snowing/slushing. We watched the clock all night because we just could not miss it. I was very tipsy/light-headed as the night was filled with champagne, vodka and alize. Right when we got on the skytrain one of my potentials had told me he was outside the club I was at and had walked from where he was. I was so shocked as I was already on the train. He was sooo rattled because he really wanted to see me, but I guess like Cinderella the clock had struck 12 (aka 2). Oops! And today, I heard he got home at 5am. Poor guy.

Next, I got a text from another potential and he wanted to meet up. I agreed and he was going to pick me up at the skytrain, but he ended up getting into a fender bender as his car wouldn't stop due to the black ice. He ended up walking 10 blocks back to his friends house in the snow! Eeeks.

So no New Years boy, but it was an eventful time and I spent it with some of the people I love! I guess not planning sometimes is a good thing. P.S. I'm in the States for a two day holiday. Need to get out of good old Vancouver for a bit before hitting the books again. But I will miss my Toronto friend dearly!!! <3

New Years Eve, most people aren't scared of the hangover the next day until it actually comes. I stumbled across the secrets to keep yourself well, looking like yourself the next morning. This was posted by Harper's Bazaar through Kate Lee of Chanel and Joanna Schlip of Physicians Formula.

1. It's all in the eyes. Literally. Hold a washcloth full of ice cubes on your face for five to de-bloat and follow up with redness removing eye drops.
2. After a night of full makeup and second hand smoke, your skin deserves a clean break. Cleanse and moisturize well as soon as you get home.
3. Combat dull skin by adding some shimmer to tinted moisturizer.
4. Put the powder down (it settles into every crease of dry skin) and use a cream blush to add a luminous glow.
5. Use a bright, moisturizing lipstick to take the focus off of tired eyes. Try red or of-the-moment fuchsia.

So there you have it, no reason to look like living hell on the first day of the year!!!! As for curing the hangover itself, you're on your own. Everyone has their own solutions. For me, it's drinking a huge glass of water before bed. But personally, I like vodka water lime to drink so that helps with the hangover too! Plus it's clear and spillage will not be seen<3

So stoked right now you don't even understand. This morning I have a giant headache and 4 hours of sleep. I guess that's what you get for drinking 5 jagerbombs and 3 grey goose shots. Oh goodness. At least I remember that. I told you I would drink my life away after exams, and I do keep my word. This is how it went down.

After my last exam Friday I went home, started getting ready, headed out to my friends house. We got ready and I did 3 girls' hair and pre drank. Oh yeah I forgot about drinking then. But anyhow, we ended up going to our other friends house and drinking there. Just shit show. We walked to the club and waited in line. The line was ridiculously long. Luckily I saw some friends I jumped the line with. But not so lucky as some blonde broad tried starting beef with me. "We waited in this line for 40 minutes and you're just going to skip the line?!" I'm like "yepp". Haha and she starts swearing and going off. And I was just laughing.

Anyhow we got in the club and it was just messy. Just dancing and making the best of the night. It was too fun! I'm soooo happy right now and I did miss my blog! But I'm back lovers!!! If you're still writing exams good luck! I'm sure you'll do amazing and you probably don't even have time to read my blog. <3
