One Tree Hill ending

The ending of the last episode of OTH was so sad. I mentioned this on Monday night's post. Anyhow, I found the voiceover of the ending and thought I'd share.

Quentin Fields was a basketball player.
he was also a son,
a brother,
somebody's team mate,
and somebody's friend.

I never knew Quentin Fields,
I guess now I never will.

Grieve is like the ocean,
its deep, dark and bigger than all of us.
And pain is like a thief in the night,
quiet, persistent, unfair,
diminished by time, fate and love.

I didn't know Quetin Fields,
but I'm jealous of him,
because I see how his absence has affected the people who did know him.
So I know that he mattered to them and I know that he was loved.

People say Quentin Fields was
a great basketball player.
Graceful, fluid, inspiring.
They say on a good night it almost seemed as though he could fly
...and now he can.

OMG OMG OMG!!!

So I've been up since 7.45am.. I don't know why, on my day off. Anyways, it's now 8.50am. OMG OMG!!!!! I got the call, I'm going to the Common & N.E.R.D concert tonight! My stomach is up to my heart and my heart is beating so fast!!!!!! Wish me luck. I'm meeting up with my boyfriend Pharrell tonight. Jealous much. ;) hehe What do I wear?!

<-Some random pick of me looking ever so happy!!!

caught offguard

Ahh.. Gwen Stefani is my fave and I totally missed this one. At least I'm only a month late, but she's already had her baby. It's another boy. She gave birth to Zuma Nesta Rock on August 21, 2008. Sorry Gwen, but I don't really like the name. Kingston was way doper. The baby weighted 8 pounds 5 ounces. She's such a yummy mummy thought! <3

tattoo convention?

I heard a while ago from one of my managers that there was going to be a tattoo convention coming to Vancouver in 2009. I've been trying to do research on it, but I haven't really been able to find anything. Apparently, huge tattoo artists are going to be coming including Ed Hardy, Christian Audigier, Dutchman and more! Finally a convention which doesn't disply the tatto artists fashion. Ew, I hate it when you see guys/girls wearing their clothes thinking they're hardcore. Anywyas, this is just the rumour, don't hold me to it. I hear it will be in April around the 17-19?! Anyways, I think I might wait it out and possibly get tatted up there! That would be siiick!

And no I wouldn't get Hello Kitty (as much as I love her) <3

you have to work with what you have

It's no NY fashion show or anything, but being in Vancouver there's not too much you can do. There will be a free fashion show called Beauty and the Boy. It is at the Bay Downtown located on the 3rd floor. This will occur this Friday the 19th. Doors open at 6, and the show will start at 7. Brandls will include Kensie, Vero Moda, Rebecca Beeson, Bench, Kersh, DKNY, Full Circle, Coco & Tashi, Tavan & Mitto, Chulo Pony, Ben Sherman, Moneybag, Esprit, Mantinique and more.

There will also be makeup touch-ups available by Make Up For Ever and air brush tattoos from Ed Hardy along with cocktail and appies, door prizes and 10% off selected brands. There will also be an after party at Pop Opera! <3>

the anticipation

So today I don't have school due to some team building event put on by the Student Association. Frankly, I'm not into that sort of thing. Especially when they say there is rock climbing involved. Hell no! This china doll does not climb rocks thanks. But anyways, the Common & N.E.R.D concert is tonight. So I'm supposed to work tonight and my guy friend called me up saying, "hey do you wanna go to the concert?! I really really want to go!" I'm like "YAH!!!! But I just have to find someone to cover my shift". So I end up getting it covered, then he calls me back saying, "OMG... tix are sold out unless you have American Express." Like what the hell. How is that even possible!? I don't understand. I know AMEX probably has a deal with ticketmaster, and I know I waited a day before the concert, but still! I'm so angry. So anyways, my friend is going to see if people at his office have an American Express card. My fingers are crossed! Cross them with me now. I have butterflies just thinking about it. <3

my quotes

I've almost filled up my quote column titled words of wisdom! If you haven't ever read them, take a look. These quotes are a few of my favourite by a few of my favourite people, TV shows, songs, or just randoms. I'm a fan of quotes because they give you insight and knowledge and you can truly connect to them. Like hunting for beautiful photography, I hunt for good quotes too! These quotes I definitely can relate to and they are flat out me! Perhaps when I run out of room I'll do featured quotes. <3
