Some ladies take emergency flats out with them. Ones that roll up and fit in their purse to wear after the club and a long night of dancing. Well now you don't have to dirty up your purse with flats. Two companies in England have decided to put in portable flats in vending machines at nightclubs. This includes Rollasoles and Afterheels which sell for about 5 pounds and come in various colours. Pretty interesting idea eh?! Being a club promoter, I think this is a marvellous idea. And we thought luxury vending machines were crazy. <3

Believe it or not, Emma Watson from Harry Potter is becoming such a fashion icon. She is in this August's British ELLE with an edgy look.

"At the moment I feel like I need to go away and figure out what I want to do and be myself for a bit. I just want to take a step back from it and not rush into stuff," she told the magazine.

movie review: Transformers II

So last night I went to see Transformers. It was alright. I think the fight scene at the end dragged on for way too long and some parts were really corny. The movie was super long too and I think the whole theatre was getting tired. With large sighs and alot of adjusting. Plus there were the a bunch of punk kids that would comment and were just obnoxiously loud. So I had to tell them to stfu. Urgh. I hate little kids that think they are so cool. They were grade 11 or 12? Ugh. Sooo annoying. I thought the movie was okay....<3

RIP MJ

Yesterday I didn't have the chance to blog about Michael Jackson's death. It was such a shock and very unexpected. Many people are so choked from around the world. I know that one of my best friend's said she and her family was so shook. I guess he affected lives no one would expect. Such a tragedy..due to cardiac arrest. RIP Michael Jackson. <3

Fawcett's loss to cancer

Legendary style icon and original Charlie's Angel, Farrah Fawcett lost her battle to cancer today at the age of 62. She has been in the entertainment industry for 40 years and was very well liked. Fawcett received her 3rd Emmy in 2003 for The Guardian and battled cancer through a documentary which has not yet been released named A Wing and a Prayer. RIP. <3

tuesdays at Celebrities

As you know, Celebrities is the it gay bar downtown. Tuesday nights are straight night, and everyone goes. The doors have started to open at 8pm due to the crazy line ups. It's insane! So last night my best guy friend from LA and all the guys and I went out. We decided to go there early and get stamped. We were there at 7.55pm and already there was a crazy line up. Isn't that insane!? We got stamped cuz we went through VIP and went to grab a bite. We headed there at 10.30, and the line was half a block down! It was crazy. I'm not even emphasizing.

The music was delicious and the night turned out to be pretty good except for the fact that the dance floor was packed and all. But that's what is expected when you go there. It was so hot in the club but we had lots of fun. I remember last summer I went there almost every Tuesday, but now I feel like my body just isn't handling it as well as it did! I'm old! <3

movie review: The Proposal

Last night I went to see The Proposal and really really liked it. I thought it was such a cute movie and it was funny too. Basically it's about this high powered woman who is being deported to go back to Canada and she pretends to be marrying her assistant so she can stay. From there the story unravels.

Anyhow, before the movie.. I had an omg moment. Boyfey and me went out to a new restaurant that opened up in the area. It was a 45 minute wait so we just hung out and walked around. When we were seated, I noticed the guy that has liked me for 4 years was sitting there with mutual friends! I don't think he saw me but still... a little awkward and uncomfortable! <3

party weekend

This weekend started off with me heading out to the Wild Coyote. I was promoting there, and I have never been there before. I heard a bunch of mixed feelings on it, such as it's really bad to it's really good. Anyhow, I got there lateish and realized that when I got there I changed purses and forgot to put my ID back into the purse I decided to take out. So I was rummaging through everything because they wouldn't let me in otherwise. I finally managed to find something. THANK GOD. haha It ended being a pretty good night basically filled with dancing.

Last night, the boyfey wanted me to go to his friend's birthday with him so I agreed to go. We went to a Starbucks first cuz we were both tired from the night before and then we went started to walk. We ended up going into Pop Opera a club that I've never been into before because he knew one of the bouncers so we got in free. It was weird just us two there. There were alot of girls there too. It was so dumb because no one was getting bottle service and they designated most of the seats to bottle service. So there was only a little corner to sit!

Anyhow, we left shortly and we walked to Canvas Lounge. I promote there in a couple of weeks and I hadn't yet been. I really liked it! The music was so good. One of the DJs was Betti Ford, who was really good. I met his girl friends as it was one of their birthdays. I had lots of fun there, and then we both headed home after the club. But I did have lots of fun. I was out til 4 both nights. Ugh. I'm tired... <3

graduation day!!!

I officially graduated today! I strutted across the stage in that gross gospel gown that makes everyone look bad. And I didn't have to wear that dumb hat because you only did if you bought it for $10. Then I received my diploma! You know that little paper that all of us slaved over for 2 years with 8 courses a semester!? Yepp.. I got it!

It was such an exciting event.. and I was kind of nervous to be honest. I wore the cutest outfit with a black waist high skirt and a baggyish tank top and a boyfriend blazer with the sleeves rolled up and kitten round toed heels.

Ofcourse with me, drama follows. A guy who used to like me and broke up with his girlfriend ended up there... with his ex!? I was like woah. And to top it all off she gave me the bitch look. The stare down. My special. So I went up and introduced myself. Sorry hunny, I'm not a threat. I just thought it was funny. The weather turned out marvellous and overall, it was a good day! My parents also got me a beautiful bouquet of roses! <3

tattoo gone wrong

A Belgian 18 year old, Kimberly Vlaeminck decided to get 3 stars on her face for a tattoo. During the procedure, she fell asleep and woke up in pain when she felt her nose was being tattooed. She was in much shock, to find that the tattoo parlour had tattooed her face with 56 stars! The tattoo artist said Vlaeminck agreed to 56 stars. Vlaeminck said she wanted to keep the tattoos on her forehead and remove the rest. <3

movie review: Casablanca

Today I watched Casablanca again. It is so cute. Such a cynical man was not so cynical just around his lady love. And how he sacrificed everything for his love to have a better life. Ahh.. I'm such a hopeless romantic. One of my favourite quotes comes from the movie:

movie review: The Hangover

Last night I went out to my friend's birthday dinner and went to the movies to see The Hangover. I was unsure about seeing the movie at first, but then my friend told me it was hilarious and I had to see it.. so I took her advice and went to go see it. It was hilarious.. and unpredictable. The movie theatre was packed. But honestly, it you're thinking of going to see a light movie, go see this one! <3
