Claudia Schiffer x Tank

She's still banging and looking better than ever on the cover of Tank. Photoshop? Surgery? Who knows but who cares. She looks great! <3

the secrets of a living pin up girl

One of my favs, Dita Von Teese is writing a beauty book and will come out in about a year! She's releasing all her secrets from her hour glass figure to her porcelain complexion and her classic look. Wouldn't I love to know. <3

PH8

Bebe is changing their style and rather than Bebe Sport, they are doing a line called PH8 aka fate. The line will have everything from clothes to shoes and accessories appealing to the more sophisticated, higher end demographic. Meaning, less slut and more style. The name though makes me want to hurl. So teeny bopper 90s style. I do like the style though. <3

politics and fashion

Denimology just released their new ad campaign with Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan masks. I dunno.. Pretty controversial if you ask me. But that's what gets people talking and they probably want that. Any attention is good attention........ right? <3

featured designer: Jason Matlo

I've been looking for Vancouver fashion designers and came across Jason Matlo. I like his pieces because it's still chic and simple but there are parts which still resemble couture. Especially in his dresses. We need more designers like him! Who said we didn't have talent in Vancouver?! <3

jealousy to the fullest

When you look at a super gorgeous actress or a pretty model you want to look like ever get jealous? Well, there is something just for you called Whoodoo Dolls. Basically they are handmade voodoo dolls from England. They include Victoria Beckham, Paris hilton, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Vivienne Westwood. They are designed by The Kuntists and you can find some of theses at Etsy. They are made of felt and are 6"x3". Wow.. haters out there only buy these. <3

tip of the day: how to naturally tan

Only a few more days before school starts, so you might as well get your tan on and look your best before you enter school. So something which I learned was that the best way is to tan is to face the sun. Well that's an obvious one. But how do we know we're CORRECTLY facing the sun. Basically if you are standing in the sun and whichever way your shadow lies, you should lie in your shadow. Simple right? Duh.. why didn't I think of that earlier! <3

Emma Watson x Vogue Russia

You know it's the biggest magazine month when I can't stop blogging about them! Emma Watson looks effing AMAZING in Vogue Russia. So sophisticated and couture chic. I'm actually jealous of this stupid Harry Potter girl! I love how all the shots are so unique and different. Yet I love all thes styles. <3

GG x Elle Korea

Gossip Girl stars Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick shot for Elle Korea. I love the styling and everything of it! The front page is a bad one of Ed for sure though! <3

Christian Siriano keeps blowing up

He has his makeup line, and now for back to school he's making the books. As season 4 winner of Project Runway, he has managed to brand himself to the best of his potential. He is releasing his book, Fierce Style: How to be Your Most Fabulous Self for $17. There are tips from celebrities such as my fav Victoria Beckham, Heidi Klum and Nina Garcia, along with fashion do's and don'ts and alot of behind the scene type things! <3

Anna Wintour x David Letterman

Last night, Anna Wintour went on David Letterman. She was very eloquent and elegant as she discussed the real Anna Wintour, editor in chief of Vogue. I want her job! But anyhow, he disucssed her documentary, The September Issue, and ever bit of new fashion news. She wore a black and white Carolina Herrera dress and made some jokes. Even commented on The Devil Wears Prada, which is actually about her. <3

homeless be chic too

For the September issue of W, Sasha Pivovarov and Craig McDean along with stylist Alex White created a homeless beautiful editorial inspired by Oliver Twist in couture paper bags. LOVE IT! <3

shoe chain

Tove Jansson and Per Emanuelsson won Shoemania 2009, a design competition for heels. These are craazy! How would anyone even where these!? But I guess it's all about design right!? Put them in a glass case and look at them. Nothing more! <3

Chanel vandalism

At the Armani boutique in Hong Kong, the Chanel logo is dripping down to the streets. This is a merge with high fashion and graffiti. It's not left by Karl Lagerfeld but rather Zevs, who tags label's logos to preview "Liquidated Logos", his display of work. Oyy.. I smell trouble! I'll admit it looks crazy cool though. <3

Meet Queen Nefertiti

Well, just when you think people are at the peak of being obsessed with cosmetic surgery, there is Nileen Namita. She is a 49 year old woman, an artist with 3 kids from England. She has done 51 cosmetic nips and tucks to look like Queen Nefertiti. She believed that she was Queen Nefertiti, the sun-worshipping wife of Pharaoh Akhenaten. Over the 20 years of cosmetic surgery, this has costed approximately $360,000. <3>

song of the day: Rave is King

Not to be rude, but this song is by Fukkk Offf. Weird? Yeah I thought so too. Anyhow, this song is a pretty good pregraming song. It's a house song!

Alcohol
Drugs
Overdrive
Noise
Neon Lights
Party People
Revolution
Rave is king
<3

the newest hair trend

Have you seen the infomercial for Bumpits?! They are everywhere and just last week there was a stand with Bumpits! If you don't know what they are, they are basically a piece of plastic you put between your skull and your hair to volumize it and get that teased 50s look which I love so much. I know 2 girls who bought it and I made fun of them. Like wow. It's $20 for 2 big ones and 2 little ones for your bangs. COOL! It's called learning how to actually do your hair. I've been making my hair look big, teased and voluminous since grade 8 thanks! Takes a comb and hairspray! I don't know why. I'm so against them. End of story. haha<3

same old, same old

So, last night I went to 3 friends' birthday's they were having at a local bar. That venue is so gay by the way. But anyways I went. It was literally like a high school reunion. This consisted of my graduating class along with a grade below, and even people entering grade 12. Like, great. Anyhow, I did see people I haven't in a long time including this one girl who used to be my really good friend and she decided to freak out over nothing and has held a grudge since. Also, Australia man was there too. It was quite the interesting night seeing all the boys I used to have flings with and all the drama filled people. I also saw people I haven't seen since middle school. Weird.. I know.

The thing is, I knew that the night was going to be whack when there were bouncers outside of a pub checking IDs and giving us stamps.. like WOW.. what are you a wannabe club? And then you see people drunk sitting outside of the club in a mini skirt with their top almost coming off. CLASSY.. haha It was all in all a weird night. And also a reminder of WHY I don't hang out with these people on a daily basis!<3

quote of the day: Andy Warhol

The Gospel According to Coco Chanel: Life Lessons from the World's Most Elegant Woman

I stumbled over this book which takes a look at the life of Coco Chanel, the legendary fashion icon. It's basically about practical life lessons for women of all ages based on Chanel's philosophy. Written by Karen Karbo, the new type of self help book includes style, money, success, passion and loving/living life being as a woman. So why not read the book, even TIME magazine said she was the only fashion icon in the Top 100 Most Influential People of the 20th Century. <3

stars + fashion week = complicated

Avril Lavigne's clothing line is to be show cased at New York Fashion Week next month. Besides it not going so well, Avril and her people have been on agencies backs to get models to walk for free, because they can't pay them at all.. with money or clothes. <3

the woaaahh factor

Vogue seems to be getting a little on the thin side. I wonder why. Probably because a single colour page goes for $128,220!! Woahh... that's alot of money, and recessionistas definitely wouldn't do that! But guess who purchased an ad!? Well the Black Eyed Peas, for their album for the September issue. Just makes you go woaaah.<3

what to do with your old cassettes

You don't have a cassette player anymore, yet you have all these old ghetto cassettes laying around! Well, Contexture Design from Vancouver has created something just for the 4th generation iPod Nano It's a case for it! Pretty crazy hey. It looks siiick! <3

movies for you to get excited over

So in theatres, I was checking out new movie trailers and these ones look pretty interesting. First off, Brothers. This one is about a woman who thought her husband was dead and ends up falling for his brother as they are trying to get through the misery.. but then they find out he's actually not dead! The drama happens!

The next one is a book that I read, The Lovely Bones. It was weird because when I saw it in theatres it all looked so familiar but I wasn't sure until the title came on. It's about this girl who dies and she is looking over the people who were in her life including the killer. Dun dun duuuuunn!
style="text-align: center;">

And ofcourse, Alice in Wonderland! <3

September 14th

They're baaackk.. In a few weeks, the cast of Gossip Girl will be back and it looks delicious as per usual! Check it out! <3

i think it's because he wants to be on my blog..

So the adventures in boyland continue. Surprisingly. Just when you think everything is good and settled, Australia man comes home. He wasn't supposed to come home til October, but he has. When I was up in Whistler. Anyhow, I guess he's using the same sim card because he decided to text me tonight. It was really weird because I was kind of wondering if he would contact me in other means besides facebook. And he did. It's weird because we hung out till the day he left and then he just left and would randomly message and text me.

He wanted to meet up tonight but I'm really not feeling it, and then he asked to see me tomorrow. So he seems pretty eager, saying that he'll be at home and for me to just let him know. Persistent. Every text was like what are you doing? Wanna do something? lalala. Oyy. Refer to Alienated by Keri Hilson. <3

D&G x Sony Ericsson

D&G has teamed up with Sony Ericsson to give us 24K phones. And by phones I mean 4 different tones! They are limited edition with a 3.2 megapixel camera, video, GPS and a mirror as well! Handy when you want to apply your lipstick, or scan your face! <3

only le french

I just had to feature this because this is ridiculous! The French are that fashionable that they have colorful and decorative fire extinguishers. They are sold in 2 stores in Paris. At least we know they are putting out fires in style....I like the pink one!<3

you would never guess these are cookies!

Omg, these cookies are sooo cute and are liked by stars such as Blake Lively and Gwen Stefani. They are by Eleni's cookies. Check out these little handbag ones! I love it! She has a website which you can go to and check out all the goodies! Of course, she's located in NY.<3

skinny water

Check out this beauty drink called Skinny Water. It's supposed to melt our fat away and make our sking glow! Skinny Water is low calorie and is flavored using Splenda to flavor up our water. It also has calcium, potassium and crave control ingredients including green tea extract. Craazy. <3

song of the day: I Took the Night

K, this song is seriously amazing by Chelley. It's one of those bitchy, cocky girl songs, but it makes you wanna dance and has a good beat. I love love love it! <3

movie review: Time Traveller's Wife.. and OOPS!

So I've soo neglected my blog the last few days. I got home on the Sunday. Wow and was Saturday night crazy. We ended up going to the same club up in Whistler that we did the weekend before. It was a Coor's party, so it was lots of fun. I didn't want to get hit on by guys so I wore these crazy glasses. Like straight nerd, square, thick framed glasses. I loved it. But it drew way more attention. Woops. Anyhow, I've been trying to get my life in order and figure out everything.. so I've been busy busy. On top of that, working, etc. But I am back!

Last night I was supposed to go to the Lil Wayne concert. First Drake had an injury and couldn't make it, then Lil Wayne just cancelled! Like that! I was so choked! So I ended up watching The Time Traveller's Wife. The movie was complicated and really interesting at the same time. It was really sad, because it's like the two characters are together, but at the same time they can't be because he disappears even though he doesn't want to (aka that's the time travel thing). But yeah. It's a really interesting movie with romance. <3

Anna Sheffield x Target

Target is just hitting up designers. Their newest one is jewelry designer, Anna Sheffield, and I would LOVE to get my hands on her jewellry come August 30th. She has also designed with Urban Outfitters. I love her antique, romantic goth look! <3

Harper Bazaar goes natural

Harper Bazaar's Fall Fashion issue will be having the most iconic supermodels from the 90s. This includes Amber Valletta, Shalom Harlow, Kristen McMenamy, Helena Christensen, Nadja Auermann, Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer and Tatjana Patitz. Not only will they be in the fall issue, they are going au naturale. I think that's the latest thing. Au naturale that is. As for me, no thank you! I love make-up and happy to wear it! I couldn't find a pic of it but enjoy Miranda Kerr's face! <3

Lady Gaga x OUT

Lady Gaga poses nude on the cover of Out magazine in the September issue. I like the photography though by Ellen Von Unwerth! Lady Gaga is wearing either nothing or bondage type outfits by dark scenes including skeletons and coffins.

P.S. Lady Gaga loves the gay culture and that is why she is in this gay magazines. She also told Kanye before they toured toured together, "I just want to be clear before we decide to to do this together: I'm gay. My music is gay. My show is gay. And I love that it's gay. And I love my gay fans and they're all going to be coming to our show. And it's going to remain gay." <3

The Commuter Tie

Thomas Pink has come up with an invention for all you iPod freaks! It's called the commuter tie. It is made of 100% silk and has an MP3 storage compartment. It is $100 and will be at Thomas Pink stores or online in September! <3

how dirty our shoes REALLY are

New York Daily News did a study, sending 2 reporters around NYC wearing $3.50 sandals over 4 days. They went everywhere, from the train, to public bathroom, bars, you name it. Then after those 4 days they sent them to the lab to get tested. And... drum roll please... analysts found staphylococcus aureus. What is that you may ask? It's bacteria that can kill you if left untreated. Dr. Charles P. Gerba from University of Arizona says, "If you wear shoes for three months, 93% have fecal bacteria and 20% have E.coli." See why I hate feet, they are connected to your shoes! Yuck. <3>

have your teeth gotten raped?

So today I went to the dentist. I was totally dreading it, but anyhow. This unfamiliar part-time hygienist totally dove into my teeth and just digging the dental instruments into them! They feel ever so painful and now I have to wait half an hour til I eat. See why I hate going to the dentist now?! At least I didn't have cavities! <3
