tip of the day: get the right bikini for your body

That time of year is approaching. Dun dun duuuuuun. Yep the one where the sun is blaring on your face and your ice cream is melting faster then ever.. you know that is the signs of bikini season! But before you start shopping for one you might want to find one that compliments your body! Here are some tips depending what you are looking for!

No waistline and not very curvacious:
  • Look for bikini bottoms with ruffles, bows or a belt to look more curvy
  • Bikinis with ties on the sides elongates your body drawing the eyes to your legs
  • Try to avoid a halter top since it will make your top half look longer
Larger with a protruding tummy:
  • Tankini is for you with hiding you tummy as the fabric covers it up, yet allows you to show off your hips and legs
  • Bottoms should include a full-cut style to minimize the stomach area
Large thighs and larger legs
  • Bikini style making legs longer when you choose a top to show off your torso. This lenghtens your height
  • Bottoms should be higher on the hip like a string bikini to extend the look of your body
  • Choose a bright bikini top or a bold print to focus on the top rather than the bottom
You got the behind:
  • Not a good idea to completely cover the bum
  • choose a high quality Lycra which will pull you bum in and up
  • make sure there are no added things such as bows, ties, ruffles
Overall you have to understand your body and feel beautiful no matter what. I can say for myself that I know the feeling of having those fat days just like you! Personally for me, I only like the bandeau style bikini. I find its the only one that does me justice! <3
